We understand the responsibility of creating the new foundation behaviours that will shape your foal’s life. We give your future champion a thorough, positive experience, a solid foundation on which to build their career.
We begin with your mare and foal from three weeks of age. This gives them time to bond and is an optimum time for your foal to learn. Each foal is an individual and they take on average 6.5 sessions to graduate with us.
Or we can travel to your mare and foal at a time that suits you. You will need an enclosed area with high walls and non slip flooring, where your mare is comfortable. Throughout the process we will advise you how many sessions we recommend for your foal.

All our foals are handled by Equus Education have benefited considerably from the work Leigh and her team do with them. The program gives the foals confidence around people and lays a solid foundation for their whole lives, through weaning, sales preparation, stable life and race day competition and beyond. This is confirmed by feedback we have received from breakers, trainers, jockeys about our horses. Importantly, it's a process that reduces the likelihood of injuries to horses and people, thus maximising the opportunity each horse receives to fulfil its racing potential.

Equus Education are real professionals that provide a top-class level of horsemanship. We are extremely happy with the results. You can easily distinguish the foals that they have dealt with - they are more confident and relaxed. I highly recommend Equus Education to all breeders.
